Facial surgery
Otoplasty
Ear surgery
Corrects the size and excessive protrusion of the ears from the head. It can be performed at any age, although it is recommended before school age.
What it involves
The incision is made on the back of the ear, so the scar remains hidden. Through it, the shape of the ear and its protrusion from the head are corrected.
Recovery
Return to school or work is almost immediate. In adults the procedure is outpatient, under local anaesthesia; in children, general anaesthesia is indicated.
Where it is performed
Consultations are available at any of the clinics, by scheduled appointment, and by video call.
