Facial harmonisation
Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the skin. Its decline over the years accentuates wrinkles around the mouth and nose and creates hollow areas in the folds, cheeks and cheekbones. Replenishing it restores volume and support gradually.
Resorbable fillers, such as hyaluronic acid, have very few complications and give a more natural, harmonious result. Permanent substances, by contrast, can cause long-term immune rejection reactions, so their use is avoided.
It is used to fill folds, cheekbones and the chin. With a single treatment, and depending on the dose used, folds and wrinkles are softened naturally. It is also useful for correcting minor irregularities of the nasal profile.
It is indicated for thin lips, whether congenital or due to volume loss over time. Depending on the case, the outline can be defined or the volume increased, always aiming for a mouth with balanced proportions.
The guiding criterion is a natural look: contouring and hydration take priority over volume, so that the result is in harmony with the rest of the features.
The proportion of the chin relative to the rest of the face may call for augmentation. The filler is planned individually and can be carried out alone or together with rhinoplasty, to work on the whole profile.
The session lasts under 30 minutes and one is usually enough. Topical anaesthesia or a nerve block is used to reduce discomfort, the follow-up visit takes place at 15 days, and daily activities are resumed immediately.
Consultations are available at any of the clinics, by scheduled appointment, and by video call.
