Mastopexy

Breast lift

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight changes and the passing of time cause the breast to descend. Mastopexy repositions it and restores its firmness, without necessarily changing its volume.

What it involves

The breast tissue and the nipple-areola complex are moved back to their natural position, which improves the position, shape and consistency of the breast. The aim is a more harmonious silhouette and a more youthful appearance.

Physical examination and the choice of technique are decisive: they determine both the result and the extent of the scars.

Preparation

Before surgery, laboratory tests, an electrocardiogram and a cardiology assessment are requested, plus breast ultrasound. Preparation usually takes two to four weeks from the consultation.

Where it is performed

Consultations are available at any of the clinics, by scheduled appointment, and by video call.

Before and after

Photographs of the surgeon's own cases, published with the patient's express consent. Each result corresponds to a particular anatomy and indication, and cannot be extrapolated to other cases.

Frequently asked questions

Does mastopexy change breast size?

Not necessarily. The aim is to reposition the breast and restore its firmness. If more volume is also desired, the indication is assessed during the consultation.
