Hair transplant
Hair implant
Redistributes the patient's own follicles to areas of hair loss. Indication, technique and number of grafts are defined during the consultation according to the pattern of alopecia.
What it involves
A hair transplant takes follicles from the patient and redistributes them to the areas where hair has been lost. It is performed under local anaesthesia as an outpatient procedure.
Each case is assessed during the consultation: the pattern of alopecia determines whether a transplant is indicated, which technique is appropriate and how many follicular units are needed.
Complementary treatments
In some cases, platelet-rich plasma helps strengthen the scalp and reduce hair loss.
